About Us

OUR MISSION:

The mission of Action Baybrook is to improve the safety and well-being of Baybrook residents by drastically reducing the number of vacant and problem properties, tackling public blight, and expanding economic opportunity.

OUR VISION:

To create a Baybrook community in which residents can safely enjoy their community’s location, natural resources, and economic prosperity.

Rodette is a 27-year Curtis Bay resident, community activist, and member of the Friends of Garrett Park and Reimagining Middle Branch Park Committee. She has a passion for helping people by volunteering and volunteers with Enoch Pratt Library, teaching cooking for children at the West Bay and Curtis Bay Recreation Center, and lends a hand with the Black Butterfly Farm.

Mike and the Board work to increase community capacity and build relationships with community residents and organizations.

Mike is the Founder and Director of Grow Home,  an organization dedicated to building capacity with local leadership and creating employment and recreational opportunities in under-served Baltimore communities.

Maureen Morest, Treasurer

A resident of Brooklyn for over 40 years, Maureen works to make Action Baybrook a change agent for community improvement. Maureen is an active community members and ready to support the organization when needed.  Maureen and her husband rarely miss Action Baybrook's neighborhood cleanups and community meetings.
