Cecilia Gonzalez

Cecilia is Action Baybrook’s Executive Director. She is a multilingual international and community development professional dedicated to engaging and empowering communities, so development can be inclusive of their voices in decision-making. 


She has worked in key roles, including in disaster recovery with World Relief in Haiti, partnership building for sustainable farming with ECHO in Latin America and the Caribbean, measuring healthy diets globally with the Global Diet Quality Project, and engaging Baltimore residents in the comprehensive planning process with the Baltimore City Department of Planning. 


Cecilia has a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Food Science from the University of Arkansas and Cornell University, respectively. She is a native of Quito, Ecuador – a city girl at heart.

Molly Finch

Molly joined the Action Baybrook in 2024 to support the Baltimore Xcel Program. As the program's property database developer, she supported development of a property database for vacant and problem property investigation information so staff members can analyze and follow-up with property issues. 


Recently she has taken on the role of Director of Programs, which includes supporting all vacant and problem property programs and managing grants and reporting. She is also the Project Manager for the Potee-Garrett Brownfield Reenvisioning Project. 


Molly first connected with Action Baybrook through coursework as a master's student at University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she earned a Master of Science in Geography. 


Before working for Action Baybrook, Molly spent 5+ years working in environmental, conservation, and education spaces. This includes three years visiting Baybrook schools and teaching about Rocky the Rockfish as an environmental educator based out of Masonville Cove Environmental Education Center.

Jan Eveland

Jan works as a Consultant for Action Baybrook providing strategic support through her expertise in real estate law and community development. She is a long-term Brooklyn resident and activist who has practiced law for over 40 years. 


As a resident, Jan has an abiding interest in improving our community, which led her to found Action Baybrook in 2018. Jan led the organization until 2024, when she passed on the baton to Cecilia, the current Executive Director. Since then, Jan has continued to support the growth of the organization in various areas, including vacant property acquisition and rehabilitation processes. 


In her current role, Jan uses her wealth of skills and experience as a real estate lawyer, long-term resident, and community activist.
